Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils during massage for deep relaxing and rejuvenating effects. Added to reduce stress and tension, refresh and invigorate the body, soothe emotions, and clear the mind.
Specific essential oils are used in conjunction with appropriate techniques such as Massage, Acupressure, or Reflexology.
Soothing effects of aromatherapy can benefit a variety of conditions including:
Headaches
Insomnia
Digestive Disorders
Back Pain,
while alleviating muscle soreness,
decreasing anxiety & uplifting mood, and boosting cognitive performance.
Oils may be selected to address specific needs.
A relaxing aromatherapy massage might have lavender or bergamot, while a massage for sore muscles might include cypress or sandalwood. Eucalyptus or peppermint oil can be effective with help for sinus relief. Before receiving an aromatherapy massage, make sure you're not allergic to any of the plants used in the oils, since they may cause a reaction on the skin.
Can be added on to any session treatment.
